Channa Masala Recipe

Ingredients (Serves 4)

3 TBSP oil of your choice 1 medium yellow or white onion finely diced
2-3 fresh peppers diced 1 TBSP ground cumin 3/4 tsp sea salt

6 cloves garlic, minced
2 TBSP fresh ginger, minced 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 28-ounces can pureed tomatoes
3 3/4 cups of soaked chickpeas slightly drained.
1 tsp of garam masala
2 TBSP of lemon juice Corriander Vitality essential oil to taste
NutmegVitality essential oil to taste

Instructions
1. Heat oil in a medium 
saucepan. Add onions, peppers, cumin, salt, garlic, ginger, and cilantro and saute over medium heat for a few minutes until cooked through.

2. Add chili powder, turmeric, pureed tomatoes, chickpeas, garam masala, and lemon juice and simmer until begins to boil. 

3. Lower heat and finish by seasoning with Coriander Vitality and Nutmeg Vitality to taste, starting with one drop each and gradually adding more as desired. Salt to taste.


4. Serve with basmati rice and fresh cilantro garnish.
